A Bit About Me

I became passionate about my health and fitness when I was very young

I started training in the gym when I was 16 and didn’t have a clue what I was doing. I mostly taught myself and made loads of mistakes but luckily I had an older brother around and my athletics coach (from my sport) at the time who helped me to at least make sure I did some things right. 

I’ve been passionate about my own health and fitness ever since, and even before this. From an even younger age, I had felt concerned with how I look and what I could do, but just didn’t even know how to access a gym or what to do. I used to go out for runs by myself after I got home from school.

Personal Training

When I was 18 I started at University on my Sport Science and Coaching degree (before this i’d only ever had one career in mind: marine biologist). I decided to pursue my passion of fitness when I found it there was a degree for it.

Here, at University is where I qualified as a personal trainer.

I’ve coached sports, working primarily in an Athletics background. I’ve worked in two schools, coaching sports and even teaching in the school gym.

Now, after years of personal training i’ve delivered thousands of hours of coaching and training sessions and i’ve worked with hundreds of people.

The type of people I might have worked with has varied and changed over time, but the aim has always been the same: Help people to exercise confidently and enjoy the process of becoming the best new version of themselves.

I aim to constantly update my knowledge and improve my skills to the best of my ability. It’s in my nature. I’m an inquisitive person and always want to know more. Especially if that helps me to be a better version of myself, and be more useful to others.

Building a ‘Good Vibes’ Army.

My passion first started with my own enjoyment of health and fitness and my desire to be a better version of myself. Now, i’m well and truly in love with helping other people to experience the same changes to their life, health, confidence and how they feel that come with putting themselves first and giving it their all.

My background and my success with my own body and my happiness came from making myself as fit and strong as possible and having a normal, healthy relationship with food.

My aim is to help the people around me to do the same and build an army of strong, fit, healthy and happy people that feel good vibes and can be proud of themselves on a daily basis.
